I wish I was a Gentleman

My colleague and good friend, mr. Thomas Mahon of EnglishCut , Savile Row, taking me on a tour in his classic MG through the wonderful area around his hometown Warwick Bridge, Cumbria. What I wouldn’t give to be a proper Savile Row tailor! Everyone knows that Savile Row, London, is the world’s epicentre of bespoke tailoring. Royalty, filmstars, classical as well as pop-artists, in short: everyone with a bit of taste and enough common sense will know that Savile Row is the place to go if one wants be served well and clad impeccably.
But not the only place! There are more bespoke tailors than just the British, and I respect them all. It’s just that the classic english cut is unique in its kind, and it is a style that mr. Mahon has mastered to the extreme.
Aside from being a amazingly superb tailor, he is also one of the most generous and kind people I know. Seeing him deal with colleagues as well as with clients is impressive, to say the least. He holds my deepest professional as well as personal respect.
He very kindly invited me to spend a few days up in Cumbria with him last week, and we had a great time. But even more than the fun we had, I was stupefied by seeing him at work: What an artist! I tell you, if you are looking for an english Bespoke tailor, you have found him. His suits are wonderfully comfortable and soft, and the cut is, well, just perfect. As a matter of fact, I hope to be able to afford one of his suits one of these days. You can contact him at englishcut@gmail.com, or have a read at his website, Englishcut.com.
Thanks Tom, I had a wonderful time!
